As the prime contractor we performed all management, quality control and safety oversight. We installed finishes and trim out of the facility. This was in addition to multiple instances that were worked directly with the end user and owner to determine value engineering and alternate methods of delivery.
This project consisted of constructing an office addition of approximately 3,225 square feet to the Flaming Gorge Ranger District Office building. The existing facility was in Manila, Daggett County, Utah on property owned by the Ashley National Forest. The project included some site demolition and disposal, minor building demolition, preparation for new construction and the construction of an addition on the west end of the existing District Office.
The work for the Ranger District Office included the construction of a new addition that was connected by a breezeway and planter. The additional office space included a new conference room with a break area, open office areas, single offices, hallways, bathrooms, mechanical room, and telecom space. Also included was the installation of HVAC systems, plumbing, and the construction of new concrete entries. The exterior had new landscaping, irrigation, and exterior site elements. The finished addition met all ADA accessibility guidelines and standards.
